HBFI's Accelerate product is in response to a recommendation from the 2023 review of HBFI by the Minister for Finance. The product is designed to assist larger developers, with a track record of delivering schemes of 100 homes or more, accelerate delivery if they are unable to access sufficient funding elsewhere. This product can be provided on a stand alone basis or on a syndicated (shared) basis with other lenders.

The indicative Accelerate Product criteria are as follows:

  • For developers with a track record of delivering schemes of 100 units or more
  • No limit will be placed on the scale of the scheme
  • Gearing of up to 70% (includes site purchase and development funding)
  • Margins and fees will be assessed on a case by case basis
