  • HBFI funds 203 new homes in Drogheda in partnership with Manley Developments.

15 December 2021

HBFI recently partnered with Manley Developments in the funding of 203 much needed new homes at Avourwen, Drogheda. The development comprises of Phases 5, 6 and 7 of the project and construction has already commenced.

Known as Avourwen, the development is located on the Duleek Rd on the south-side of Drogheda, on the border of Meath and Louth, close to the M1 and public transport options and all that Drogheda town centre offers. It consists of a mix of 3 and 4 semi-detached and terraced homes, the first homes in the current phase are expected to be completed in early 2022 and are for the private market.

As with all transactions, time was of the essence for this partnership with the period from initial enquiry to approval taking approximately four weeks and agreement of terms to drawdown being achieved in five weeks.

Both HBFI and Manley worked with a team of expert advisors on this transaction. These included Eugene F. Collins, WKN Real Estate Advisors, Nolan Construction Consultants, Beauchamps LLP and Landy Muldoon & Co.

Featured below are some photos from a recent site visit by HBFI’s Shane Hartney and David Casey.
